Chemical Exposure Monitoring typically means the measurement of employee exposure to airborne vapours, mists, fumes or dust particles. The monitoring is required stated by assessor as per the CHRA report.

The objective of Chemical Exposure Monitoring is to measure hazardous contaminants suspended in air that is being exposed to employees.  This monitoring is used to assess workplace contaminants and compare it against the stipulated limit depicted in the Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standards Of Exposure Of Chemicals Hazardous To Health) Regulations 2000 by a certified DOSH hygiene technician.

The objectives of the assessments are:

  • To analyses the concentration of pollutant on the factory area.
  • To identify exceeding the permitted exposure level.
  • To ensure the exposure of employees to chemicals hazardous to health complying to the OSHA standard as stimulated in the MSDS of the chemical used.
